A new survey ranks best non-native speakers of English. Sweden is number one, while Singapore is number three.
Global language training company Education First (EF) ranks best non-native speakers of English in their yearly survey EF English Proficiency Index.
Singapore is the only Asian country in top five. This year, Norway ranks as number four, Denmark as number five and Finland as number eight.
Sweden has been ranked first in 2012, 2013, and 2015 as well. Denmark ranked first in 2014.
The survey is based on a comparison of English skills measured by testing 1.3 million people in 88 countries all over the world. It is the eighth year, EF releases the survey.
