Attended by more than 340 guests from the Business Councils from Denmark, Finland, Norway & Sweden, this year’s Nordic Business Christmas Dinner was held at JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur in the beginning of December.

The organizers spared no efforts to make this a night to remember. The Grand Ballroom was decorated in the most wonderful way. There were fabulous ice carvings, christmas trees and snow flakes hanging from the ceiling. Also Lucia with her procession also visited the event. Just spectacular.

For the first time at these dinners, Chef Saint-Jean Kristensen from Denmark, presented a splendid traditional Nordic Christmas Buffet, where his signature ‘Salt Baked Whole Norwegian King Salmon’ may be named the top dish of the evening.

Starting with traditional Christmas songs, the Zarzadias Brothers with their keyboard and guitar once more played their great music, which brought the guests to the dancefloor not wanting to stop. The Swedish DJ Stella Nutella with her usual flair, continued inspiring the guests to even more acrobatic dancing until late evening.

There were many happy guests who could go home with great prizes from the lucky draw. Among these prizes were 2 air tickets from KLM to one of the Nordic capitals, a Persian Tabriz carpet, a cruise, hotel stays, dining vouchers, a Chinese painting, a golden bracelet, necklaces and much much more.

This year there were more main sponsors than ever, who showed their generosity in different ways. In addition another large numbers of sponsors generously contributed to the running of the event, as well as with prizes to the lucky draw. Without them all this evening would not have been made possible.

It is said that the guests make the evening! This was certainly true for this christmas event. Thank you to the members of the Nordic Councils, their guests and friends who attended this very special and enjoyable evening.
