Norway’s Foreign Minister Børge Brende confirmed on 7 January 2014 that the Norwegian government would help 
in the reconstruction effort in Tacloban City and other areas devastated by supertyphoon “Yolanda.”
Brenda made the statement upon arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport 1 for a three-day official visit to the Philippines.
