The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok and the Thai-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce promoted Norway’s food supplement industry at Vitafoods Asia 2025. A networking reception and ambassador-led meetings connected Norwegian biotech innovators with Thailand’s fast-growing health and wellness market.

The exhibition in Bangkok gathered more than 650 exhibitors and 13,000 visitors from 38 countries. Norwegian companies showcased marine-based innovations such as krill oil, omega-3 concentrates, and advanced delivery technologies, emphasising quality, sustainability, and scientific research.

Ambassador Astrid Emilie Helle underlined Norway’s commitment to wellness through science and sustainability. She noted the strong interest shown by Thai investors, distributors, and entrepreneurs in developing long-term partnerships with Norwegian firms.

Thai-Norwegian Chamber President Axel Blom highlighted that several discussions already point toward future collaborations. He stressed the chamber’s role in bridging Norwegian innovation with Thai market demand in the health supplements sector.

Norwegian companies present at the event included Aker BioMarine, Epax Norway, Arctic Bioscience, Noromega, GC Rieber VivoMega, and Vitux, each showcasing marine-based supplement products developed for international markets.
