Scandinavian Society Siam’s library on 11th floor of Hotel Mermaid has been closed down, the books have been moved to the warehouse of Grundfos in Bangkok and on Saturday 5 June 2021 all members of Scandinavian Society Siam and Danish Thai Chamber of Commerce are invited to go and collect for free any of the old books, they would like to keep.
Date: Saturday 5 June, 2021.
Time: 13.00 to 17.00
The vast majority of the books offered on the 5 June are modern time literature, Nordic writers predominantly.
Grundfos and SSS will sponsor Danish Open Sandwiches from Danish Bakery and water and coffee/tea.
The event will only take place provided the COVID situation in Bangkok will allow for this. If you register, you will be kept informed on further updates.
