IKEA grant full refund to Heroisk and Talrika plates

IKEA has announced a full refund for Heroisk and Talrika Plates after finding out these products don’t fit for hot food. The statement said:

“IKEA urges all customers who owns HEROISK or TALRIKA plates, bowls, and mugs to stop using them and to contact IKEA for a full refund.

Safety is a top priority for IKEA and therefore we are taking precautionary measures and recalling HEROISK and TALRIKA plates, bowls, and mugs as they can break and potentially cause burns due to hot content. All our products are tested and comply with applicable standards and legislation. Despite this we have received reports of the products breaking. To our knowledge, no known incidents have been reported in Thailand

HEROISK and TALRIKA can be returned to any IKEA store for a full refund.

Please present the original receipt as a proof of purchase. According to the Revenue department of Thailand (tax office), a receipt number should be stated in the credit note when issuing a refund, so we would appreciate if you can present the receipt.

In case of no receipt, we will have to return in the form of an IKEA gift card.

For more information, please contact IKEA Customer Contact Centre at 02-708-7999.

IKEA apologizes for any inconvenience this recall may cause. Thank you for your understanding.”
