More than 50 members of the Singapore Press Club gathered at the Danish ambassador’s residence on Wednesday 19 March 2025 for a “hyggelig” evening of discussion, Danish pastries, and diplomacy.
The highlight of the event was a Q&A session with Denmark’s Ambassador to Singapore, Jakob Brix Tange, moderated by Derek Wallbank, Senior Editor at Bloomberg. The conversation touched on key issues shaping Denmark’s position in the world today, including Europe’s role in a shifting geopolitical landscape, modern leadership dynamics, and the future of Greenland.
According to the Danish Embassy, the event aimed to build stronger ties with media professionals and promote a deeper understanding of Denmark’s global perspectives. Guests were also treated to traditional Danish pastries sponsored by Baker & Cook.
