Spotify is coming to Vietnam

‘No more fake IP-adresses!’

That’s the general reaction after Spotify revealed that the streaming service would be available to the citizens of Vietnam within three days.

In general the Swedish service has had a slow approach the countries of Southeast Asia. Only last August the service became available to the people of Thailand, after sources close to the service told of it’s coming in the beginning of May 2017.

According to VN Express, people are already considering switching from the services that were already available i Vietnam.

This marks just another expansion from the Swedish giant of music streaming. It is expected to enter the New York Stock Exchange within the next week and is predicted to have a value of around $20 billion, with 71 million paying subscribers.
