The Phuket Gazette reported that Swedish national Johan Sebastian Ljung, 28, was sentenced on 24 January 2014 to life imprisonment for the stabbing murder of Maxim Schantz in Phuket two years ago. The Phuket Provincial Court is scheduled to sentence, Ljung’s co-defendant, Tommy Viktor Soderlund, in early March.
