Sweden Alumni Network in Cambodia discuss renewable energy for sustainable business

According to a recent update from The Embassy of Sweden in Phnom Penh, renewable energy for sustainable business was the theme for this year’s gathering of the Sweden Alumni Network in Cambodia (SANCam).

Peter Ford from the Swedish brand H&M was invited to talk about how consumer demand and other factors are changing business and the opportunities that give for green solutions.

The digital gathering was hosted by Swedish Ambassador Björn Häggmark who congratulated five Cambodian students who recently have been awarded scholarships for master’s studies in Sweden.

The Embassy explains that year by year more Cambodians benefit from studies in Sweden to develop themselves, get more opportunities for jobs, research or business, and contribute to progress in Cambodia or perhaps elsewhere.

It is the Ambassador’s hope that the network will continue enabling contacts and activities among the alumni, the Embassy writes.
