17 November 2020 the Swedish Embassy in Yangon announced a welcome note to their new member:
“We are very excited to welcome our new team member Linnea Lindberg, who will be supporting the team in the areas of conflict prevention, peacebuilding and Rule of Law. Linnea is new to the Section Office but not new to Myanmar at all.”
Linnea has worked almost 10 years for the UN, including 4 years for the UN Resident Coordinators Office in Myanmar, where she worked mostly on peace and human rights related issues. With the appointment of Linnea, the Swedish Government agency for peace, security and development, Folke Bernadotte Academy, further strengthens their presence in Myanmar.
