On Wednesday October 23 Ambassador Klas Molin met Joseph Abaya, Secretary of the Philippine Department of Transportation and Communications. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of urban transport. Sweden is a leading country in the area of sustainable solutions in urban transport and is actively seeking enhanced cooperation with several ASEAN countries.
At the meeting, Ambassador Molin was assisted by Mr David Lantz of Business Sweden’s regional office, who introduced Swedish solutions and Sweden’s SymbioCity concept. Secretary Abaya will travel to Sweden in November, invited by the World Maritime University in Malmö.
