Swedish Ambassador to Thailand, Anna Hammargren, recently visited Ericsson’s 5G Innovation & Experience Studio in Chonburi, emphasizing Sweden’s support for Thailand’s digital transformation.
During the visit, Ambassador Hammargren praised Ericsson’s role in fostering innovation and strengthening Sweden-Thailand relations.
“Sweden, home to global tech leaders like Ericsson, remains committed to driving sustainable growth with Thailand,” she said.
Opened in September 2024, the 5GIX Studio serves as a hub for collaboration among government, academia, and private sectors, showcasing the transformative potential of 5G in healthcare, manufacturing, and smart cities.
Ericsson Thailand’s President, Anders Riahn, highlighted the company’s 118-year partnership with Thailand, calling the studio a “platform for digital transformation.”
The visit underscored Sweden’s dedication to advancing bilateral ties through innovation and technology.
