Swedish chambers to assess US tariff impact on Asia supply chains

A coalition of Swedish business chambers across the Asia-Pacific region is hosting a webinar to examine the consequences of recent US tariffs on global supply chains, with a special focus on the implications for companies operating in Asia.

Scheduled for Wednesday 30 April 2025 from 13:00 to 14:00 Bangkok time, the online session is organised by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce Taipei (SCCT), and open to members of participating chambers, including the Swedish Chambers of Commerce in China, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taipei, and NordCham in the Philippines and Indonesia.

The keynote speaker will be Johan Annell, Partner at ARC Group, who has over a decade of experience advising Fortune 500 companies, investment funds and start-ups on strategic operations across Asia.

The webinar will explore critical questions such as:
– How US tariffs are affecting global supply chains, particularly in Asia
– Which sectors may benefit or suffer from the trade policy shifts
– Risks and opportunities facing Nordic firms
– Strategies for Nordic companies to adapt
– Whether long-term decoupling between major economies is underway

The event is exclusive to members of the listed chambers, with registration available through each member’s home chamber.
