A Team Sweden delegation led by Ambassador Anna Ferry and Trade Commissioner Johan Lennefalk visited Tetra Pak Philippines this week to explore the company’s role in advancing food security and sustainable packaging.

During the visit, the Swedish delegation learned how the iconic Tetra Pak carton—a Swedish innovation made of six layers including aluminum—helps preserve milk, juice, and soups for months without refrigeration or preservatives.

The meeting focused on Tetra Pak’s efforts to support long-term food safety while reducing environmental impact through sustainable solutions.

The visit is part of Sweden’s ongoing engagement in Southeast Asia under the #FocusAsia initiative.
