This is the key message of the Embassy’s Traffic Safety Day that took place in Hanoi at Thursday. At lunchtime all of the Embassy staff travelled by motorbike to Cat Linh Primary school via Hoan Kiem lake wearing blue and yellow helmets. At Cat Linh Primary School, AIP foundation and the Embassy co-hosted an event to teach more than 1,000 students about traffic safety in a fun way.
The Embassy donated nearly 500 helmets to second grade pupils. We are very happy that our good-will ambassador for the 45-year celebration of diplomatic relations between Sweden and Vietnam – the pop star My Linh – also joined us for this important event and sang some songs together with the children! Now we hope that everyone will wear a helmet and be careful in the traffic.
