Swedish Institute opens master’s scholarship for applicants from international students

The Swedish Institute has opened applications for its SI Scholarship for Global Professionals for master’s studies in Sweden. The application window runs until 25 February 2026.

The scholarship covers one- or two-year full-time master’s programmes taught in English at Swedish universities. Fields listed include governance, public health, entrepreneurship and innovation, and STEM.

Applicants must be citizens of one of 34 eligible countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Applicants must also show work experience and leadership experience.

The scholarship includes full tuition coverage, a monthly allowance of 12,000 SEK, and a one-time travel grant of 15,000 SEK.

University admissions results are scheduled for 26 March 2026, with scholarship results on 23 April 2026. The scholarship also includes membership in the SI Network for Global Professionals.
