These products, solutions and know-how support the vision for Asean to become a global manufacturing hub.

The program in Vietnam will consist of factory visits and round table discussions with buyers/manufacturers, writes Business Sweden in its invitation to Swedish companies. Focus is on electronics, food & beverage and furniture/textile – three leading manufacturing sectors. Food & beverage is the 3rd most attractive FDI sector in the whole of Southeast Asia, and is fast-growing with considerable investments. Furniture is currently the leading export sector with increasing demand for modern equipment. Electronics is the second largest export sector with 59% annual growth during 2009-2013, and with large FDI from Japan and Korea.
