On June the 8th 2019, the Swedish School Organization in Bangkok, met students and parents at Blue Parrot, Sathorn soi 10.
This was our last getting together before the summer break.
We were about 14 kids and many parents, but several had had to cancel at the last minute due to illness. A heavy flu is going around causing fever and coughing.
Blue Parrot, is a small oasis in the center of Bangkok, an open air casual restaurant with a small playground for the youngest visitors, a pool, canvases etc.
The kids started to perform 3 traditional summer songs that we have been practicing during the year, Ida’s Sommarvisa, Pippi Långstrump and Den Blomstertid nu kommer.
The president of the organization Hanna Tjernberg, handled out a DIPLOMA to each child, thanking them for another successful term.

A lunch consisting of pizza slices, Mozzarella sticks, Chicken nuggets, small Club Sandwich etc. was well appreciated both by kids and parents. Some stayed and enjoyed a lazy afternoon by the pool and some of us went back home to further duties.
