On 17 September, GEODIS hosted a site visit for representatives from the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SweCham), alongside delegations from the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce (FTCC) and the Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce (NTCC), to Laem Chabang Port in Chonburi. The program aimed to showcase Thailand’s key logistics infrastructure and strengthen international business cooperation.
The visit began at GEODIS’s Free Zone Warehouse, where Managing Director of GEODIS Thailand, Yigit Saricinar, welcomed the group. Company specialists provided insights into customs procedures, road freight networks, and contract logistics services widely used across Thailand. The delegation was led by SweCham’s Executive Director, Anna Olsson Moore.
The participants also toured the Siam Commercial Seaport terminal at Laem Chabang, observing port operations and facilities first-hand. The visit gave chamber members the opportunity to learn more about logistics operations supporting international trade.
