On 15 September 2020 was an auspicious day at the Royal Danish Embassy where they officially opened Nordic Police & Customs Liaison Office in Bangkok here at the Embassy. The Nordic Liaison Offce was previously located in Park Ventures on Ploenchit Road in Bangkok.
Ambassador H.E. Jon Thorgaard and staff bid farewell to Mr. Erik Vand, Police Chief Superintendent whose duty term has ended and welcomed Mr. Carsten Andersen who will take the position of the next Police Deputy Chief of the Nordic Liaison Office in Bangkok.
The ceremony was joined by Swedish Attaché (Police Liaison) and online welcome speech by Chief of Danish Police National Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS), Mr. Henrik Sønderby.
