Vietnam Materials Marketplace is one the 11 start-up partnerships that has been granted a funding after Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) announced the grantees. P4G’s global competition attracted 450 applications from 80 countries.

Vietnam Materials Marketplace will receive US$100,000 in funding to develop a cloud-based materials trading system that directs Vietnam’s booming manufacturing industries towards the circular economy. Through an online, cloud-based marketplace manufacturers can buy, sell or trade materials and equipment suitable for further or alternative use.

P4G, founded by the Danish government together with 6 other countries, focuses on five key areas: food and agriculture, water, energy, cities and the circular economy.

The partnerships receiving funding will be showcased and recognized at an awards ceremony at the P4G Summit in Copenhagen on 19 – 20 October 2018.
