Vietnamese tour operator Vietravel Tourism and Denmark’s Nordic Travel Associates (NTA) have signed a cooperation agreement on strategy and travel product development.
The agreement was among the cooperation documents exchanged in Copenhagen on 20 October. Vietnam’s General Secretary and President To Lam and Denmark’s King Frederik X witnessed the exchange, according to Vietnam’s government news portal.
The portal identifies strategy and product development as the focus of the tourism agreement. However, it does not specify destinations, individual travel packages or a timetable for their introduction.
Danish operator with Asian presence
NTA is a Danish tour operator based in Copenhagen that works with other travel businesses. It has branches in Norway and Sweden, alongside sales teams and offices across Asia, including Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
The company specialises in tailor-made trips to Northern Europe for both leisure and corporate clients. Its destinations include Scandinavia, Iceland, Greenland, the Faroe Islands and the Baltic states.
The agreement brings together Vietravel’s Vietnamese travel business and a Danish operator with an established presence in both Nordic and Asian markets.
