“It was the song about “De 10 smaa cyklister” all over again. Only 3 brave vikings, Claus Birk (organizer), Claus Gundersen and Hans Henrik Melchior turned up at the beginning of the Saturday 85K ride to Ban Chan and back, and the same for the shorter Sunday ride of 45K in the hills east of North Pattaya. Both rides were challenging, with lots of hills, but on good roads and in wonderful weather. All 3 guys survived the ride, although one of them, I won’t say who, did a few km in the comfort of the support vehicle.”
