Hanoi International Women’s Club held its Mardi Gras Ball at the Hanoi Sofitel Plaza Hotel in Tay Ho. The ball took place on Friday February 24. The night was all glitz and glamor as one would expect from a Mardi Gras Ball. There was a bustle of noise and energy as the participants mingled. The dress code was colorful and exuberant. 145 people attended in their most colorful carnival attire. The crowd was comprised of both the Hanoi International Women’s Club and expatriates in and around the Hanoi community.
The evening came alive after dinner with dancing and performances of samba, salsa, and belly dancing. The guests did not leave the night with only fond memories though, some lucky individuals and couples won prizes as well.
