The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing will officially open its new Norwegian Visa Application Centre on 31 August 2012 with an aim to provide better and more efficient service to all its applicants.
After the opening, all applicants applying for a visa or residence permit to Norway from provinces the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing is responsible for should submit their applications there.
The centre will be located in a new and more spacious facility on the northern side of Shimao department store in Shimao International Centre, close to Sanlitun. The new centre has an extended number of counters. No appointment is required for those who wish to submit their application documents.
Please note that all applicants must register their application and pay the visa fee in the application portal (link below) before coming to the Visa Application Centre to submit their application documents.
The extended opening hours and larger facility is aimed at ensuring a higher level of service efficiency for all visa applications to Norway.
As mentioned, please also notice that the use of the new Visa Application Centre only applies to applicants from the following provinces:
Applicants in Shanghai areas and Guangzhou areas should still apply at their correspondent consulate.
You can either get to the Centre by taking subway line 10 to Tuanjiehu subway station. It takes 15 minutes by walk from the station to the Centre. Or you could take bus 115, 117 or 118 to Worker’s Stadium or bus 110, 120 or 43 to Xin Dong Road.
