Camfil Farr to open new plant in Malaysia

Swedish clean air solution company Camfil Farr will on April 26 officially open its new factory in Ipoh, Malaysia.
     Camfil Farr specializes in filters for clean air solutions and is one of the world’s leading companies in clean air technology and air filter production It’s filtration technology covers three main areas: comfort air (protecting people), clean processes (protecting processes) and safety and production (protecting the environment). The company’s comfort air filters are commonly used in office
buildings, schools, hospitals, conference centres and airports.
     In Malaysia, Camfil Farr’s operations are based in Batu Gajah, just outside Ipoh. The Malaysian subsidiary, Camfil Air Filter Sdn Bhd, specializes in high-efficiency filters in the clean processes business area and supplies major projects in the electronics industry throughout Asia.
     Camfil Farr established its first production plant in Malaysia in 1996 in Ipoh, 250 km north of Kuala Lumpur. The plant in Batu Gajah is equipped with the very latest technology, and is rated one of the best production facilities in the Camfil Farr Group. The Malaysian company now employs over 100 people.
