Mekong Region Conference In Stockholm April 3-4

Sweden’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), and the Swedish Trade Council are together with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), arranging a two day Mekong Regional Forum conference in Stockholm 3-4 April.
The conference aims to strengthen long-time partnerships – particularly within business – and between the Nordic countries and Mekong countries. Delegates from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and China will take part, among them the Lao PRD Minister for Greater Mekong Subregion, Somphong Mongkhonvilay.
Industry delegates from all Nordic countries will attend the conference and Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Aid and Development, Ms. Carin Jämtin is among the opening speakers.
