Coup Had Finnair Considering Daily Flight to Thailand

Finnair’s Tuesday evening flight to Bangkok took off as scheduled from Helsinki-Vantaa airport and another flight from the Thai capital landed at the Finnish hub normally.
Taneli Hassinen, a spokesman of Finnair, said the carrier would closely monitor the situation in Thailand and was prepared to divert the Bangkok flights to Singapore when the situation takes a turn for the worse.
Mr Hassinen added Finnair had offered passengers the possibility to transfer to a later flight on Tuesday evening, but only a few passengers had chosen to do so.
