Danish major Vestas Wind Systems A/S said yesterday it will provide 58 units of its V52-850 kW wind turbine to an unnamed Chinese customer for a project in the southeastern province of Guangdong.
No financial details were available.
The contract covers supply and commissioning of wind turbines with a combined capacity of 49 MW as well as a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system VestasOnline Business and a two-year service and maintenance agreement.
Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2010.
