Dane Drove Against the Flow – Three Killed

A 27 year old Danish tourist caused the dead of three people in Malaysia, when he drove against the flow of traffic at the North-South Expressway.
The dead were passengers of a BMW which was heading south.
Before the mishap, the trio, who were ex-Universiti Institut Teknologi Mara (UiTM) students had a reunion along with the driver of the BMW, Zahari Abdullah, 49, who escaped with light injuries, said a police spokesman.
The driver of another car, a Danish tourist also escaped with light injuries. His identity is still unknown.
He said the accident allegedly occurred when the Danish man drove against the flow of traffic after being involved in a minor accident with another car.
The Danish man was on the north bound lane before he allegedly made a U-turn, he added.
Negeri Sembilan traffic staff officer ASP Abd Halil Hamzah confirmed the report when contacted.
