Norwegian Youth Olympics Team Visits Norwegian Church

On Thursday August 19, the Norwegian Youth Olympics team visited the Norwegian Seamen’s Church in Singapore as they had a break from the first Youth Olympic Games (YOG).

The Embassy, Innovation Norway, and the Norwegian Seamen’s Church gave information on various aspects of Norwegian investment in Singapore.
The homemade waffles and refreshments was served while conversations around the tables were lively.

Some of the young athletes have finished their competition while some others are still in play. Swimmer Lavrans Solli has already secured a solid bronze medal. The Youth Olympic Games 2010 is held in Singapore. 205 nations participate in the 26 sports similar to the original Olympic Games.

They took a visit to the Seamen’s Church even though they had a busy schedule. The church appreciated it and supported a continued success for Norway in the Youth Olympic Games.
