New Chairman of Scandinavian Society Siam

Members of the Scandinavian Society Siam elected Gregers Møller as Chairman for the year 2004-2005 at the Annual General Meeting onWednesday 12 May 2004.
Gregers Møller, a 51 year old Dane, has been active in the Society throughout his 15 years of residence in Thailand and member of the Board most of these years.
The meeting, which was conducted by former Swedish Chairman Anders Lundquist, further elected the following new members of the Board: Max Falck, Trygve Gundtved, Charlotte Fung Korff, Jarmo Kihlstrom and Kenneth Radenkrantz, while Hakan Alm, Anne-Marie Hauslo, Thomas Raldorf, and Jorgen Udvang, were reelected as Board Members.
In his report on the activities in the past year, the out-going Swedish chairman Hakan Alm noted among others that the Board during his term had managed to produce a small profit on each of its major parties during the year and collect almost all long outstanding revenues from in particular advertisers in The Scandinavian Bulletin.
Hakan Alm’s report was followed by reports from some of the sections. Kristian Bo reported on the Golf Section, Maja Werner on the Ladies Golf, Jakob Bergholdt had forwarded a written statement about the Scandinavian Vikings and Thomas Raldorf reported on the high level of activities in the Motorsports Section.
The meeting decided in favour of a range of proposed changes to the bylaws but rejected introduction of Corporate Membership as a new membership category. Instead the board was requested to bring forward a proposal for transferability of membership when members were leaving a position in a company which a new Scandinavian would takeover.
The evening turned as per tradition out to be a social event as well with a cocktail reception before the meeting and a few drinks afterwards.
