Danish Crown Prince Plans Vietnam Visit in November

HRH Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark is hoping to visit Vietnam in November this year as part of the celebrations to mark the 40 year aniversary of the relationship between Vietnam and Denmark. The details of the visit are not yet finalized but it will include business activities promoting several business sectors where Danish suppliers have special expertice, says Danish Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. John Nielsen.

It is expected that Troels Lund Poulsen, Denmark’s Minister of Education, together with Pham Vu Luan, Vietnam’s Minister for Education, will jointly perform the official opening of the celebration of the exact anniversary for establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Danmark on 30 Juni in Hanoi.


In the beginning, Denmark managed its relations with Vietnam from its embassy in Beijing, but in 1993 a Danish Embassy was opened in Hanoi. The celebrations of the Anniversary will last until the beginning of December.


“We will over he coming months focus on the activities in Noevember, where it is hoped that HRH the Crown Prince will lead a Danish business delegation here,” says John Nielsen.
