Petra Perdana signs North Sea contract

The Malaysian company Petra Perdana Bhd has been awarded a project with Norway’s TGS Nopec Geophysical Company ASA.
     The agreement regards a seismic data acquisition undertaking in the North Sea. It is worth RM 13.5 million.
     Petra Perdana said to Bernama that the job will be performed by the joint venture Geoseas Technologies Ltd (Geoseas) in the British Virgin Islands.
     Petra will hold a 51 percent majority stake in Geoseas with Geosea Holding Ltd have 30 percent and Continuity Solutions Pte Ltd (CSPL) the remaining 19 percent.      The North Sea project is expected to be concluded by year end 2004.
