The Embassy arranged a programme to visit SKF and Volvo, two of the largest Swedish companies in Singapore employing some 250 people each. SKF and Volvo have both their HQs in Göteborg.
Anneli Hulthèn met the CEOs of SKF’s and Volvo’s Regional Offices in Singapore. The companies gave comprehensive briefings about the business operations in Singapore and in the region. The regional offices in Singapore are responsible for Southeast Asia and major parts of Asia. A guided tour of the premises was also part of the programme.
