
Brunei is stepping up efforts to attract tourists from Singapore.
The Brunei Tourism Development Department recently showcased its tourism offerings at a travel fair in Singapore, highlighting experiences from rainforest trips in Ulu Temburong National Park to river safaris and cultural attractions.
The department also promoted religious tourism, including visits to iconic mosques and local food experiences tied to Brunei’s traditions.
Singapore a key market
Singapore remains one of Brunei’s top source markets for visitors.
In 2025, Brunei recorded 22,781 arrivals from Singapore by air. In the first two months of 2026, arrivals rose slightly to 2,301 — up from 2,257 in the same period last year.
