Business Sweden is inviting Swedish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to join its fourth Focus Asia SME Study Trip to Singapore and Indonesia, offering companies an opportunity to explore two of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic business markets.

The delegation will take place from 12–16 October 2026, with registration open until 21 August 2026.

According to Business Sweden, the initiative supports the Swedish government’s strategy to increase exports and strengthen Sweden’s presence across Asia and Oceania.

The study trip aims to help Swedish companies gain first-hand knowledge of the business environments in Singapore and Jakarta while building contacts with government agencies, local companies and potential business partners.

The programme includes market briefings, meetings with local authorities and trade organisations, company visits, networking events and a pre-departure preparation session.

Participating companies will also receive up to 32 hours of consultant support after the delegation to help validate business opportunities in one or both markets.

Business Sweden says the delegation is designed to help Swedish SMEs better understand customer needs, local market conditions and strategies for entering or expanding in the two Southeast Asian economies.

In Indonesia, Business Sweden highlights opportunities in sectors including energy, mobility, healthcare, mining, digitalisation and forestry.

Singapore, meanwhile, is presented as a regional innovation hub with opportunities in areas such as smart mobility, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence and sustainable logistics.
