Swedish visitor arrivals to Vietnam increased by 24.7 percent in the first seven months of 2026 compared with the same period last year, according to figures released by the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism.
Vietnam welcomed nearly 13.9 million international visitors between January and July, an increase of around 15 percent year-on-year.
Among the Nordic countries, Sweden recorded the strongest growth in visitor numbers, followed by Denmark with 20.1 percent, Norway with 18.1 percent and Finland with 17.9 percent.
Across Europe, Poland recorded the highest increase at 51.3 percent, followed by the Czech Republic with 28.6 percent, Sweden with 24.7 percent and Switzerland with 21.7 percent.
Vietnam’s tourism authorities said the European markets benefiting from the country’s visa exemption policy continued to record strong growth in visitor arrivals.
The figures were released as part of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism’s latest update on international visitor arrivals for the first seven months of 2026.
