Norwegians in Thailand are invited to celebrate 17 May, Norway’s Constitution Day, at the Norwegian Seamen’s Church in Pattaya.
The celebration will take place on Friday 17 May 2025, beginning at 11:00 with a 17 May service, followed by a traditional flag parade and family-friendly festivities. There will be games for children and the sale of Norwegian hot dogs, waffles, cakes, and soft drinks — bringing the familiar taste of home to the tropics.
Everyone is welcome to join the event, which has become a cherished annual tradition for Norwegians living in or visiting Thailand’s eastern region. The Seamen’s Church encourages guests to bring flags and wear bunad or other festive attire to mark the national day in true Norwegian style.
The event will be held at the church’s location on Thappraya Road in Pattaya. No pre-registration is required.
