On Thursday 12 January 2017, a Danish man was robbed by two ladyboys in Pattaya. The Dane was out for a morning stroll down Beach Road when he was approached by the ladyboys who stole 4,000 baht from him.
The two ladyboys had approached the Dane and started groping him, after which he was missing his wallet containing 4,000 baht. He managed to hold one of the robbers back while the other one ran away.
The detained ladyboy was handed over to the police, but denied knowing anything about the robbery. The Dane and other witnesses could, however identify the ladyboy as being one of the robbers. The police is now searching for the other ladyboy.
