On 28 May 2013, Danish Ambassador Mikael Hemniti Winther paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Privy Council of Thailand and former Prime Minister General Prem Tinsulanonda. They exchanged information about the relations between Thailand and Denmark, including the Royal Families and about the general political situation in Thailand.
