World-renowned Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson will open his travelling exhibition “Your Curious Journey” in Manila on July 9, marking the final stop of its tour across Asia and Australia, according to the Embassy of Denmark in the Philippines.
The exhibition is presented in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design Manila and explores themes including perception, human experience and the climate crisis through works spanning Eliasson’s three-decade career.
The Manila exhibition also forms part of the celebrations marking 80 years of diplomatic relations between Denmark and the Philippines.
The public opening will take place at the museum on Thursday evening and admission is free, according to the organisers.
