The Danish Chamber of Commerce in Beijing is having its annual gala ball on April 27 from 18:00 to 02:00.
The event will be at the InterContinental Hotel Beijing Beichen close to the Bird’s Nest. The theme will be “Going to Hollywood”.
The Danish Chamber of Commerce in China have since 2003 been the host of an annual charity gala ball, held in Beijing. Since then the danish community and sponsors managed to raise nearly 5 mill RMB for charity. The Annual Charity Gala Ball gathers the Danish community from all over China for one night of good food and entertainment, all for the good of charity.
This year, the gala ball will support the kids of Sun Village. The kids in Sun Village are children of parents who are incarcerated. Sun Village is providing a shelter and home for these kids.
The non-governmental charitable organisation has helped over 5000 children and today there are 9 villages housing over 500 children, whose parents were sent to prison.
The entertainers of this year’s gala will be famous Danish singer Rasmus Seebach while MC’s are magician and comedian Rune Klan and TV host Felix Smith.
