Danish Christmas Bazar will be held again this year, on Sunday 24. November 2019 from 11.00 until 18.00, according to an agreement signed between the main orrganisers, Dansk Kirke Thailand (Danish Church in Thailand) and Danish Women’s Network (DWN) and Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce (DTCC).
Dansk julebasar 2019 / Danish Christmas Bazar 2019 is a continuation of the successfully initiated event last year. The aim is to create a family day full of “hygge” and valued Danish Christmas traditions not only for the Danes but also for the wider Scandinavian and international community in Bangkok. It is the hope of the organisers this year to be able to double the number of participants as well as the profit of the Bazar to the benefit of DWN and the continued presence of the Danish Church in Thailand.
The other Danish networks in Thailand will be invited to be visible at the event as well, e.g. the Royal Danish Embassy, Danes Worldwide, ScandAsia, Scandinavia Society Siam etc..
DWN, DTCC and the Danish Church will share an information booth at the bazar. Other Danish organisations will likewise be offered to share a booth. These booths will, however, only be for distributing information. Sales will not be permitted.
Companies and organisation that would like to offer products or services for sale will be able to rent a booth at the bazaar. Income from their sale on these booths does not have to be shared with the organisers.
