The Danish sandwich chain Bartels has been named the Best Sandwich in Thailand at the Grab Awards 2026 for the third year in a row.
Bartels started six years ago as a small kitchen with just two people and has since grown to 14 cafés in Bangkok, Phuket, and Vietnam, now employing 400 staff.
“This one truly means the world to us. (…) Maintaining and even improving quality, consistency, and every little detail along the way is nothing short of remarkable, and it is entirely thanks to our teams in Bangkok, Phuket, and Vietnam,” the company wrote in a LinkedIn post.
