Milestone Systems, a Copenhagen-headquartered video technology company, has opened a new Experience Centre in Singapore, expanding its regional footprint in Asia. The centre is intended to act as a hub for solution design, partner collaboration and real-world testing of video technology.
The company said the facility will focus on video innovations using data analytics, hybrid-cloud architectures and AI. It is aimed at government agencies, enterprises and critical infrastructure operators working with video-driven security and operations systems.
Milestone’s Asia business head Kiean Khoo said the expanded Singapore hub is meant to support demand in Asia for more adaptable security and smart-infrastructure systems. Chief revenue officer Morten Illum said the centre will help partners and customers develop AI-enabled solutions designed to be interoperable and ready for complex operational settings.
Milestone Systems, founded in 1998 and part of the Canon Group since 2014, develops video management software, AI analytics and cloud video services. The company said it is also working on “responsible Vision AI” initiatives, including Project Hafnia and anonymisation technology.
