Denmark supports efforts to improve social dialogue in Myanmar through partnerships with labour market partners.
The effort includes includes training to improve the professional performance of township conciliation bodies (TCBs), writes the Embassy of Denmark in Myanmar.
The TCBs are important bodies which are the first step in the dispute settlement process outside the work place. Swift and consistent settling of labour market disputes at this level minimizes disruption of work and can help foster constructive dialogue at the work place.
