‘Another Round’ for best international film and Mikkel E. G. Nielsen for Best Film Editing at the 93rd Oscar Academy Awards. Denmark took home two Oscar statuettes, rnoted the Royal Danish Embassy Bangkok in an announcement on 26 April 2021.
The embassy says “Congratulations to Vinterberg and his team. Also gratulations to Mikkel E. G. Nielsen who won in the category Best Film Editing with the movie Sound Of Metal and became the first Dane ever to win in this category.”
The Danish movie “Another Round” won the Oscar for best international film, becoming the fourth Danish film to take home an Oscar.
“Another Round”, an existentialist drama-comedy, is about four burnt-out high-school teachers and their quest to reinvent themselves by experimenting with their blood alcohol concentrations.
