Denmark, Sweden partners in film festival in Manila to support UNPD sustainability goals

Embassy of Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Austrian and German in Manila collaborated together with the support of the UNDP Philippines, Film Development Council of Philippines  for the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Documentary Film Fest,In commemoration of the International Human Rights Day on 10th December,  offering free screening to public from 6-8 December 2019.

The first of its kind in Manila, the festival aims to raise awareness on sustainable development as both a responsibility and a human right, with 6 international documentary films highlighting specific United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

With the theme ‘TODAY IS OUR FUTURE’. The festival aims to mobilize the youth towards the realization of the 17SDGs launched by the UN member states.

TODAY IS OUR FUTURE runs from December 2-5 at the University of Santo Tomas, and from December 6-8 at Gateway Cineplex, Araneta Center Cinema 4 for general public audience.
